Do I need to make an appointment to see a doctor?

We strongly recommend patients to make an appointment, especially if you would like to see a particular doctor of your choice.

Do I need to make an appointment for pathology?

Provided you have a Pathology request form from your GP, no appointment is necessary. Please ensure you come during the opening hours stated for Pathology. If preparation is required, please ensure you have followed your GPs instructions to avoid disappointment.

Can I obtain my pathology/radiology results over the phone?

Pathology – An appointment is required to be made with your GP, in order to obtain your pathology results.

Radiology – Reports from radiology labs will generally take around 2 days to prepare, in some cases even longer. Once you have received the films, we recommend you make an appointment to see your GP so they can discuss the report and findings with you in detail.

Can I pick up a repeat prescriptions/medical certificates/referrals without seeing a doctor?

Repeat Prescriptions – An appointment will be required to be made with your GP so they can review and discuss with you management plans for your medication and to monitor your condition.

Medicare Certificates will only be issued at the time of consultation and cannot be back-dated.

Should you require to see a specialist, please make an appointment to see your GP and ask them to prepare a referral for you.

How do I obtain my old records from another medical centre?

Should you wish to transfer your medical records from another medical centre, please enquire at our reception and they will provide you with a “Transfer of Medical Records” form for you to complete.

I’ve been injured at work or have had a car accident? What do I need to do?

If your consultation relates to WorkCover/CTP insurance claims, please ensure that you make an appointment to see your GP. Please also let receptionist know when making an appointment that this is what the consultation relates to so that a longer appointment time can be assigned for you.

Please note, all initial consultations relating to WorkCover/CTP claims will incur a charge which you will be able to claim back from your employer/insurance company. Please ensure you bring with you all necessary documentation such as employer/insurance company details as well as a claim number. Should you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to ask our reception for further details. Fees and charges are set in accordance with the AMA standards.
